Daniel-McKee Alternative School
School Wide Grading Policy Daniel-McKee Teachers will divide graded work into two categories, Assessments and Practice Activities. Assessments will be 60% of a student’s grade. Practice activities will be 40% of a student’s grade. Additionally, students will be provided with opportunities to learn previously unlearned concepts for credit if their grade on the original Assessment or Learning Practice was below a 70 (teachers’ discretion above a 70). Students are provided with only one additional such opportunity. Students may not redo assignments one week before the end of the grading period. Teachers reserve the right to alter the format for a redo assignment. Late Work will be accepted up to one week before the end of each grading period. Teachers will provide a minimum of 14 grades each grading period. |
